Best breakfast and lunch menu. The cook is the owner. What does that tell you? Quality food, tastefully prepared, and the Wait staff treat you as a neighbor. Prices also are in small bills. Can't beat this place!

The proverbial New England eatery. Classic breakfast and lunch dishes well prepared by Jeff, the owner/chef. He frequently has specials to break it up a bit. The prices are very reasonable, too. The Common Place has been a mainstay of this community for over 25 years.

This small hometown eatery has some fantastic food. Best onion rings and Reubens anywhere. We love to go for breakfast (closed Sun-Mon), and have the Irish (eggs) Benedict. Homemade hash, poached eggs and hollandaise. Good quiche, huevos rancheros, and desserts. Friendly servers, too. Owner operated-and he is a good cook.

Good service and food. Serves coffee and has a nice feel to the whole place. A great place to grab breakfast or lunch if you're in the area. Downside is that the plates, butter and syrup come out cold.

Ok LOVED this local joint! Food was affordable, plentiful, locally sourced and 100% homemade. Staff was beyond friendly, genuinely happy we were there. Here's an example, told waitress I had a crown which popped out earlier that day she suggested two local dentists. Strangely ran into the same waitress two day's later at another restaurant she approached me and asked about my tooth!

This place is decent. It's the local food joint. Post and beam interior. The menu has affordably priced options, mostly typical American fare. Friendly staff and clientele. If you're in the area it won't disappoint, but it's not a destination.

Awesome food, very fast service and the ambiance is that of a nice little cafe/diner. The wait staff are all very nice and you meet regulars who love to get to know you.

This restaurant is a cute little New England eatery located in a small New Hampshire town. This is the second time that we ate here. Due to the distance from our home, we only come here once a year or so. There is extremely generous parking out back in a crushed stone parking lot. You can also park out front on the asphalt road. Both time we ate here a Model T was parked out front. The restaurant itself is in an old building that has been updated but still retains its New England charm. Service is good and friendly. This restaurant seems to attract a significant number of locals and most are 'regulars.' Breakfast was good. I had the poached eggs with home made corned beef. My wife had a scramble with corned beef. You can choose from a number of types of toast, including toast made with locally made sunflower bread. We like this place and will return when we are in the area.

We had lunch here today. We all had fish n chips. It came with Cole slaw. We also ordered a large order of onion rings to go with it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! It is very clean and very cozy. It's not a huge place but the tables are set up so that you don't feel overcrowded. The decor is really nice and the chairs are super comfy. Our waitress, Lana, was extremely friendly and very helpful. Our haddock was cooked perfectly and the seasoning on the fries was really good. They informed us that the fish is fresh and it was! The coleslaw was also very good. I don't know if they make their own tartar sauce or not but it was very yummy. My dad and I love to dip our fries in tartar sauce. The onion rings with Crispy and oh so good. The prices here are very reasonable. I saw someone and another table eating chicken tenders and they looked really good so I might try that next time. I hope you give it a try.
